Support for anxiety, stress, trauma, and midlife.

You’re holding it all together–at work, at home, in your relationships–but inside, you’re struggling: Sleepless nights, self-doubt, guilt, anxiety, exhaustion, relationship stressors, brain-fog, and a general feeling of disconnection from yourself and the things you love. The old strategies no longer help you cope as effectively, leaving you burned out and yearning for life to feel differently. You don’t feel like you anymore.

You feel like you’re just surviving, but you deserve to thrive.

Hi, I’m Allison Davis!

I specialize in helping people recover from the aftereffects of toxic relationship dynamics, heal from chronic stress, and navigate the challenging shifts that accompany perimenopause/menopause. I’m passionate about helping women of all ages liberate themselves from the burdens of self-criticism, over-functioning, anxiety, guilt, burnout, and depression. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming. 🌈

I dream of a world filled with healthy, empowered women who know their worth. I strive to provide specialized, high-quality psychotherapy that delivers lasting results.

  • Address the unique mental, emotional, and identity challenges of perimenopause and menopause

  • Replace guilt, low self-worth, over-functioning, and anxiety with confidence, calmness, and coping

    Chronic Stress & Anxiety

You’re constantly spinning—mentally tracking everything and everyone. Even when nothing is “wrong,” your body feels tense, your thoughts are racing, and rest feels impossible. Therapy can help you slow down, quiet the noise, and start feeling like yourself again.

    Relational Trauma Recovery

The toxic relationship, the difficult parent, or the patterns that you just can’t break: Intellectually, you can make sense of what happened, but you still react to old triggers. Experiential trauma-focused therapies target those stubborn symptoms that become embedded in everyday life, so you can finally feel free.

    Perimenopause & Menopause

Suddenly it feels like everything changed. You’re exhausted, disconnected, and hardly recognize yourself anymore. Rediscover who you are beneath the changes and the challenges, and make space for a life that actually fits.

Services

In addition to an integrated style of psychotherapy that blends a variety of evidence-based therapies, I also provide the following specialized services.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS), also knowns as “parts-work”, is a gentle approach to healing from traumatic and prolonged adverse life experiences. IFS is rooted in self-understanding and compassion, and can provide transformative, long-lasting relief from anxiety, self-criticism, shame, relational challenges, and many other symptoms.

Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)

Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) is a highly effective, brief model of therapy that targets the emotional aftereffects of acute, disturbing life experiences. EMDR is exceptional at relieving clients of the discomfort of heightened emotional reactions, fear, and shame resulting from specific traumatic life events.

Clinical Hypnotherapy

Clinical hypnotherapy uses calm, focused states of being, where you are completely aware and in control, to guide your mind toward positive change. Hypnotherapy is a gentle, effective modality for treating chronic stress, anxiety, phobias, and more.

You might be wondering…
“Do I really need therapy? Isn’t this just life?”

You’re not alone in asking that. Many of my clients are high-functioning, deeply caring women who have spent years managing everything–but quietly feel exhausted, resentful, or like they’re living on autopilot.

Therapy isn’t always about having a crisis. Sometimes, it’s about creating space for you to come back to yourself and to feel more grounded in your day-to-day life. To name what you want (and learn how to ask for it). Life can look and feel differently.
